3rd Annual Katie's Run

In 2011 this race raised more than $14,000. for Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.

Katie McBride, daughter of Retired NYPD Detective Mike McBride, was a vibrant young girl when she was stricken with Leukemia at eleven years old. Althouh Katie lost her battle at a much too young age, her spirt lives on through this event run in her honor.

In addition to a competitive 5K Run, the event features a 2 Mile Walk, a Dri-Fit T-Shirt, a free barbeque for all participants, and the Ronald McDonald House Children's Fun Run.
