19th Annual Long Island Police Appreciation Run

Special praise also goes out to NYPD Sergeant Sean Mara who was first Male Overall Law Enforcement Officer and NYPD Sergeant Rommelle Dorvil who was second Female Overall Law Enforcement Officer.

Other award winners from the NYPD were James Schramm who was third Overall Male Law Enforcement Officer, Susan Maier second Female Master Law Enforcement, Christine Servedio third Female Master Law Enforcement, Dave Stein first Male Master Law Enforcement.

Thanks to all the NYPD Running Club members who came out to this run and special thanks to the Nassau Police Running Club for their hospitality.

Each year the NYPD Running Club joins with our fellow Law Enforcement officers from Nassau and Suffolk counties to enjoy a great run around Eisenhower Park, with food and beverages to follow.

This run is a 5K Race in the heart of Nassau County. For those of you considering running it and live in New York City, Eisenhower Park is only about 20 minutes from the Nassau/Queens boarder.

In addition to the normal age group awards, this race also has Law Enforcement awards. Come out and support this run where the entire net proceeds go to POLICE CRISIS FUND to aid law enforcement officers and families in time of personal emergencies.
