Michael Hanly Memorial 5KSunday, June 12th, 2011 10:00 AM The Annual Michael Hanly 5K Run Honors NYC Department of Sanitation Line of Duty DeathsThis 5K race is named in memory of Sanitation Worker Michael Hanly, who was killed in the line of duty in November 1996. This run starts at the Michael Hanly Garage, also known as Brooklyn South District 11. All proceeds go to the families of DSNY workers killed in the line of duty and used for surviving children's education or donated to the charity of their choice. |
