Tunnel to Towers Run/Walk 5KSunday, September 27th, 2009 9:30 AM The race recreates the journey of Stephen Siller, an NYC firefighter who ran from his firehouse in Brooklyn through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to Manhattan to respond to the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks. Siller died when the towers collapsed that day. |
