For nearly 60 years, YAI has been helping children and adults with autism, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities achieve their fullest life possible by creating new opportunities for living, loving, working and learning. YAI's comprehensive services support thousands of people every day. YAI offers residential programs, employment training, day services, opportunities for recreation and socialization, and a variety of supports that empower people with disabilities and their families. Funds raised through the 2017 CPC enable YAI to change lives.

Central Park is a cherished oasis for runners. As host to the Central Park Challenge, it provides an ideal setting for a day of fun and inspiration. The CPC offers a variety of special events for everyone to enjoy. There is a Pride Walk, a 4-mile run, and Junior All-American races for children of all ages. With live music, face painting, spin art, and many other activities, the CPC is a meaningful and memorable day for all.
